So what is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy balancing healing practice. The term Reiki translates as ‘universal light energy’ and is a natural and relaxing process for holistic wellbeing. A Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit to channel chi, prana, life force (whatever you want to call it) focusing it, so the client can release blocks and cultivate calm. Everyone can benefit from it and it is not affiliated with any religion. Though it should not be seen as a replacement for medical intervention, or therapy, it is nevertheless a gentle yet subtly powerful experience that can help you tune in so that you can navigate daily pressures from a more grounded perspective.

What is Angelic Reiki?

Encompassing elements of both Shamballa Reiki (multi dimensional healing) and the more traditional systematic approach of Usui Reiki, Angelic Reiki taps into transformational energy at your soul level. The practitioner channels pure, angelic vibration from the highest level of light. Whether you are drawn to the concepts of angels literally, symbolically or as archetypes of higher qualities or even if you don’t resonate with the idea of angels at all, you will get the perfect healing for you. It comes from a source that is ultimately focused on helping you release anything that is no longer serving you, for your highest good. Sometimes you may not even know where a sense of unease or negativity is coming from, but that’s ok, you just need to be open to the idea of letting it go so you can be free to feel more like you

Our Reiki Practitioners

Kate Hall

Kate has studied the Five Elements system for a number of years, including Reiki and Shiatsu, Macrobiotics and Meridian Therapies. This has always been a foundation for her interest and training in Chinese Martial Arts and she has used the Five Elements system to learn more about the body and the world around us generally, as well as employing it as a model of working practice.

Katie's Reiki treatments can be followed by sound vibrational therapy using singing bowls to take the client into a deeper relaxation if needed. Or supplemented with integrated massage techniques (through clothes) including gentle joint releasing techniques and stretches.

She began to study the therapeutic uses of sound and vibration with the British Academy of Sound Therapy in 2005; including techniques with voice, quartz crystal and Himalayan singing bowls and gongs. As a musician, she now uses sound in group and one to one sessions as well as musical performances, and 'creative sound immersion' sessions where listeners are invited to use the time to make, sew, draw, think, read or just relax.

Kate has also trained as a Hatha yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Technician working with Panchakarma (5 Actions for detoxification), including yoga and meditation at clinics in the UK and abroad. She teachs regular weekly classes and runs workshops combining some or all of the above.

Please call Kate Hall directly to discuss your treatment options.
